A Big Year for Lumen – Highlights from 2025! 

What an incredible year it’s been for Lumen Study Hubs! From new hub openings to workshops, community events, and school visits, we’ve been busy connecting, supporting, and empowering regional learners. 

 

This year saw the official opening of our Northam Study Hub and sister Hub in Ellenbrook, a major milestone for Lumen and the Wheatbelt community along with more opportunities than ever for students to study locally and connect with support across our hubs in Merredin, Narrogin, York, and Wongan Hills.

 

We are also thrilled to have welcomed new staff members this year, each bringing fresh ideas, local knowledge and a shared passion for supporting regional education.

 

We’ve loved getting out and about from Turn Up in Blue Day in Northam, the Narrogin Agriculture Show, and visits to universities across Australia, to local school visits, CRC collaborations, and community partnerships that help us reach students wherever they are. 

 

Together with our university partners, we’ve hosted study skills workshops, outreach events, and student support sessions helping regional students feel connected and confident throughout their studies.

 

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited for what’s ahead in 2026.
