Lumen Wheatbelt Regional University Centre

The York Study Hub is OPEN for Business

RDA Wheatbelt is pleased to introduce our Director for the Lumen WRUC. Elise Woods has a strong presence across the Wheatbelt through previous positions with the Wheatbelt Development Commission and brings to this program a suite of skills and experience, plus the enthusiasm required to roll out this exciting initiative.

Elise said “I was fortunate to be able to attend the RUC Symposium in the Barossa Valley a few weeks ago and have used the knowledge gained to guide the activities planned for the Lumen Centres. I am excited to have the opportunity to develop this unique model of delivery and to support our students in achieving their aspirations”.

We are also happy to announce that our York Study Hub is open for business with the support of Bec and Robyn at the York Community Resource Centre. Elise will be travelling to Wongan Hills, Merredin and Narrogin over the next month to continue the establishment of the study hubs in those towns, with the goal of all centres being operational by the start of the academic year in February 2023.

RDA Wheatbelt wish to sincerely thank the partners to date that have generously supported the Lumen Wheatbelt Regional University Centre. Shire of Wongan Ballidu, Shire of York, Shire of Merredin, York CRC, Wongan Hills CRC and Boekemans Toyota from Wongan Hills. This support is a vital factor to enable delivery of the Lumen program for the Wheatbelt.
